A client is an individual who has suffered an injury due in an accident caused by the carelessness or inattention of another. For example, I represent the driver of a car who is hit when another driver fails to stop for a red light, or makes an unsafe turn causing a collision. A client is someone who trips and falls or slips and falls due to a dangerous condition. For example, I represent the individual who falls in a parking lot filled with potholes, or will falls on the staircase because of the missing or loose handrail. A client is individual who has been treated differently at work because of race, gender, religion or disability; a client is a female who has a boss who feels that sexual favors are the best means of obtaining a promotion.
